Aug. 14, 2007 - Fauquier County Real Estate Market Statistics for July 2007
This month Active listings dropped to 2400 compared to June when they were slightly higher at 2456. New listings dropped significantly from 451 in June to 409 in July. The number of properties Under Contract nudge up from 100 in June to 107 in July while the number of Contingent properties fell ever so slightly from 55 in June to 53 in July. The Actual List Price Average for Homes Sold also dipped slightly from $403,846 last month to $402,957 in July. The Days on Market average for homes sold actually tightened up a little from 164 last month to 140 in July.

After crunching the Fauquier County real estate market statistics for the period of January through June 2007 I come up with the following averages.
Average Active Listings: 2181
Average New Listings: 491
Average Homes Sold: 135
Average Under Contract: 108
Average Contingent: 56
Average List Price of Homes Sold: $433,973
Average Days on Market: 144

Jul. 18, 2007 - Fauquier County Real Estate Market Statistics for June 2007
This month we had a slight increase in Active listings from 2433 in May to 2456 this month while new listings dropped significantly to 451 from 537. The number of properties Under Contract increased from 93 last month to 100 this month while the number of Contingent properties inched up to 55 from 54 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold plunged this month to $403,846 from $420,647 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold increased greatly from 140 last month to 164 this month while the number of housing units Sold increased to 155 from 139 last month.

This month we had a surge in Active listings from 2310 in April to 2433 this month while new listings decreased to 537 from 604. The number of properties Under Contract decreased from 108 last month to 93 this month while the number of Contingent properties decreased to 54 from 65 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold dropped significantly this month to $420,647 from $534,936 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold decreased from 152 last month to 140 this month while the number of housing units Sold increased slightly to 139 from 136 last month.

May. 11, 2007 - Fauquier County Real Estate Market Statistics for April 2007
This month we had a surge in Active listings from 2060 in March to 2310 this month while new listings also increased to 604 from 523. The number of properties Under Contract decreased from 142 last month to 108 this month while the number of Contingent properties increased to 65 from 54 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold surged significantly this month to $534,936 from $388,728 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold increased from 135 last month to 152 this month while the number of housing units Sold slid to 136 from 163 last month.
